Listen to me, dear friend, if you want me to tell you great things. Don’t you see the direction taken by certain events and the progress that the sacred works can achieve by that? Listen to the elevated spirits, but watch out and do not confuse them with those who try to impose themselves with a language that is more pretentious than profound. Do not mix your thoughts with theirs. Would it be admissible that the inhabitants of Earth could see things from the same standpoint as the spirits detached from matter and who are obedient to our Lord’s laws? Do not mix all spirits in the same group for they come from very different orders. The study of Spiritism teaches you, but on this side, how much you still have to learn! There is a multitude of individuals on Earth whose intelligences are not similar. Some among them are closer to the animals than to human beings, whereas there are others so much superior that one is tempted to say that they are closer to God, a kind of blasphemy which must be translated by the idea that they carry a spark from those celestial clarities, planted into their hearts by our Divine Master. Well then! Whatever is the diversity among all intelligences of the human race, be assured that such diversity is still infinitely greater among the spirits. There are spirits in such a level of inferiority that you cannot find any similar among people, however there are those sufficiently purified to get closer to God, contemplating God in all God’s glory. Submitted to God’s will, their only wish is to satisfy and please God. These are called upon to circulate around the globes or to stop over according to the conveniences for the execution of the great designs of the Creator, and to some God says: Go, reveal my power to these elemental beings whose intelligences can now understand it. To others God says: Travel around those worlds so that the superior beings that inhabit them, guided by your teachings, may add new greatness to the ones that have already been revealed to them. May all be instructed and learn since there will come a day when the clarities from above will no longer be shaded but will shine forever.

The two messages below were obtained in a small and intimate circle in Luxemburg, sent to us by our colleague Mr. Solichon, who was present. We regret the fact that our activities have not allowed us yet to go to those meetings, to which we were kindly invited. We will be happy to be able to attend them since we know that they are presided by a feeling of true Christian charity and reciprocal benevolence.

Écoute-moi, ma chère amie, si tu veux que je parvienne à te dire de bonnes et grandes choses. Ne vois-tu pas la direction apportée à certains événements, et l'avantage qu'on peut en tirer pour le progrès de l'œuvre sainte? Écoute les Esprits élevés, et tâche surtout de ne pas confondre avec eux ceux qui cherchent à en imposer par un langage plus prétentieux que profond. Ne mêle point ta pensée à leur pensée. Serait-il possible que les habitants de la terre pussent envisager les choses au même point de vue que les Esprits dégagés de la matière et obéissant aux lois du Seigneur? Ne confonds pas ensemble tous les Esprits: il en est d'ordres bien différents. L'étude du Spiritisme vous l'enseigne, mais de ce côté, combien vous avez à apprendre encore! Il est sur la terre une foule d'individus dont l'intelligence ne se ressemble point; certains d'entre eux paraissent se rapprocher de la brute plus que de l'homme, tandis qu'il en est d'autres tellement supérieurs qu'on est tenté de dire qu'ils se rapprochent de Dieu, sorte de blasphème qu'il faut traduire par cette pensée qu'ils ont en eux une étincelle de ces clartés célestes jetées en leur cœur par le divin Maître. Eh bien! quelle que soit la diversité des intelligences parmi la race humaine, sois convaincue que cette diversité est infiniment plus grande encore parmi les Esprits. Il en est d'inférieurs à ce point, qu'il ne s'en rencontre pas de semblables parmi les hommes, tandis qu'il en existe d'assez purifiés pour approcher Dieu et le contempler dans toute sa gloire; soumis à ses moindres ordres, ils n'aspirent qu'à lui obéir et à lui plaire. Appelés à circuler au milieu des mondes, ou à se fixer selon qu'il convient à l'exécution des grands desseins du Seigneur, aux uns, il dit: Allez, révélez ma puissance à ces êtres grossiers dont il est temps que l'intelligence s'éveille; à d'autres: Parcourez ces mondes, afin que, guidés par vos enseignements, les êtres supérieurs qui les habitent ajoutent de nouvelles grandeurs à toutes celles qui, déjà, leur ont été révélées. Que tous soient instruits qu'un jour viendra où les clartés d'en haut ne seront plus obscurcies, mais brilleront éternellement. TON AMI.

Les deux dictées suivantes ont été obtenues dans un petit cercle intime du quartier du Luxembourg, et nous sont communiquées par notre collègue M. Solichon, qui y assistait. Nous regrettons que nos occupations ne nous aient pas encore permis de nous rendre à ces réunions auxquelles on a bien voulu nous convier. Nous serons heureux quand nous pourrons y assister, parce que nous savons qu'un sentiment de véritable charité chrétienne et de bienveillance réciproque y préside.
